HOW ARE JOSEPH BONNIE ACCESSORIES DESIGNED AND CRAFTED?
Our pieces are imagined and designed in the heart of Paris, then brought to life in our partner workshops. The great majority of our catalog is crafted through French artisanal production, guided by an unwavering commitment to savoir-faire. After a rigorous phase of testing and quality control, the final object is born: the one you will wear on your wrist, slip into your pocket, or set on your desk.
WHAT TYPES OF LEATHER DO YOU USE?
Our leathers are sourced from historic tanneries with centuries of expertise, selected with the utmost care.
For our most distinctive pieces, we work with GAL in France for their pigskin leathers, J & FJ Baker & Co in Britain for their genuine Russian Leather, and Horween Leather Co. in the United States for their renowned Shell Cordovan and grained leathers.
Our classic leathers, whether waxed, grained, or smooth, come from family-run tanneries in Italy and Spain, chosen for the suppleness and integrity of their tanning process.
HOW DO YOU CARE FOR YOUR LEATHER STRAP OR ACCESSORY?
Leather is a living material. Cared for properly, it develops a rich patina and improves with age.
Resting: For watch straps, alternate their use to let the leather breathe and extend its lifespan.
Hydration: Leather is sensitive to both excess moisture and dryness. Apply a nourishing milk or clear conditioning balm from time to time to keep it supple.
Handling: Keep your pieces away from intense heat, and treat them with the care that well-crafted leather rewards.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE YOUR SIZE (BELTS, WATCH STRAPS)?
To guarantee a perfect fit, we recommend taking your measurements with a tape measure or, alternatively, a piece of string and a ruler.
For belts, two options:
- Measure a belt you currently wear, from the end of the buckle to the hole you use most often.
- Or measure your waistline precisely where you wear your belt, keeping in mind that the ideal position varies between high-waisted and low-rise trousers.
For watch straps: Measure the lug width of your watch, meaning the width at the point where the strap attaches. Most of our models feature a 4 mm taper, for example 20 mm at the lugs narrowing to 16 mm at the buckle. A few exceptions apply; the precise dimensions are listed on each product page.
ARE CUSTOM-MADE ORDERS POSSIBLE?
At this time, we do not offer fully custom-made pieces, but certain models can be personalised.
Hot stamping: On a selection of small leather goods, your initials, up to 3 letters, can be embossed. Where this option is available, it is indicated directly on the product page.

YOUR ORDER
CAN I MODIFY OR CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER CONFIRMATION?
Yes, provided your package has not yet left our workshop. If the order is already on its way, an exchange or return can be arranged upon receipt. Please note that return shipping costs and delivery fees for the new item will be your responsibility.
Contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to intercept your package before it ships.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as via PayPal and Apple Pay. Bank transfers are also possible: please contact us to learn more.
All transactions carried out on our website are encrypted and secure; your bank details are never stored on our servers.
HOW DO I GET MY INVOICE?
Your invoice is available at any time in your account, under your order history. Our team can also send it to you by email upon request.
SHIPPING
HOW DO YOU TRACK THE DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER?
As soon as your package leaves our workshop, a confirmation email is sent to you with a tracking link.
You will know where your precious parcel is at any given moment.
You can also track your order’s progress from your account under the "My Orders" section.
CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER IN STORE (CLICK & COLLECT)?
You can collect any order from our Parisian boutique. Simply select the "In-store pickup" option during checkout.
Once your order is ready, you will receive an email inviting you to collect it. We look forward to welcoming you and handing over your piece in person.
WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES AND RATES BY SHIPPING ZONE?
Delivery times and fees vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method.
Mainland France: 2 to 3 business days.
European Union: 3 to 5 business days.
International (outside the European Union): 4 to 8 business days depending on the destination.
Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout and are complimentary on all orders over €150.
In-store pickup: You can also collect your order at our boutique in the Haut-Marais, 32 rue de Turenne. Orders are typically ready within 1 to 2 business days. You will receive an email as soon as yours is available.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY AND HOW ARE CUSTOMS FEES HANDLED?
We ship our accessories worldwide.
Outside the European Union, any customs duties, local taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient. These amounts vary according to each country's regulations and cannot be estimated in advance.
We recommend checking with your local customs authorities before placing your order.
RETURNS & WARRANTY
WHAT IS THE WARRANTY POLICY ON JOSEPH BONNIE ACCESSORIES?
We place particular importance on the longevity of our creations. All Joseph Bonnie accessories are covered by a 2-year legal conformity warranty.
This covers any manufacturing or material defect occurring under normal conditions of use. It does not, however, cover the natural ageing of the leather, including the patina that develops over time, nor damage caused by improper use or insufficient maintenance.
I CHOSE THE WRONG SIZE OR COLOR: HOW DO I MAKE AN EXCHANGE?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to request an exchange by email.
- Contact our team to check the availability of the desired piece.
- Return the item in its original condition and original (or similar) packaging.
- Once received and inspected, we will ship your new item.
Return shipping costs and delivery fees for the second shipment remain the customer's responsibility. If you have any questions, our team is here to guide you through every step.
WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS AND TIMEFRAMES FOR A REFUND?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to return an item. Personalised pieces are excluded from this policy and cannot be returned or refunded.
Return conditions:
- The item must be returned in its original, unworn condition, free of any bending or creasing marks on watch straps.
- It must be sent back in its original or similar packaging.
Once the return is approved by our team, the refund is processed the same day to the original payment method. Return shipping costs and initial delivery fees are non-refundable, except in the case of a proven manufacturing defect.
HOW DO I PREPARE MY RETURN PACKAGE?
To ensure your return goes as smoothly as possible:
- The original box: Carefully place the item back in its original (or similar) pouch or box.
- The parcel: If undamaged, use the original cardboard box or padded envelope.
- Shipping: Choose a tracked and signed shipping method. In the event of loss or theft in transit, we cannot be held responsible.
Once your package has been dropped off, please email us your tracking number so we can anticipate its arrival.
