Since 1927, the Horween Leather Co. tannery has worked leather behind a red door at 2015 North Elston Avenue in Chicago. A legendary name with roots stretching back to the late 19th century, it produces the leather used for official basketballs today.

Built to withstand the rigours of the court, basketball leather is renowned for its durability and resilience. The accessories made with this exceptional hide guarantee years of uncompromising use and pleasure.

Design

Designed to showcase this exceptional leather, the Coltrane PLAY strap asserts an original and elegant style, carried by the singular texture of basketball leather.

As is our signature, a 4 mm taper naturally follows the wrist, offering a slender silhouette that refines toward the buckle. The proportions have been carefully studied to preserve the strap's balance and never overpower the watch.
