This ensemble, composed of a sleek two-piece strap and a protective leather pad, is what is known in horology as a "Bund" strap. Originally developed for military pilots, it prevented direct contact between the steel caseback and the skin, protecting the watch movement from sweat and the wearer from extreme cockpit temperatures. Decades later, it became Paul Newman’s iconic choice trackside at Sebring, famously paired with his legendary Daytona chronograph.

The proportions of our signature Bund pad have been entirely reimagined and slimmed down to maintain a highly refined, elegant profile on the wrist. As for the leather, it has been carefully selected for its rich patina and robust resistance.

Entirely handcrafted in France, this strap benefits from traditional artisanal expertise. The finishes are executed with absolute precision: tone-on-tone stitching, neat edge creasing (filetage), and hand-painted edges ensure excellent structural hold and an elegant aging process over time.

The two-piece construction, combined with the removable Bund pad, guarantees a remarkable wearing experience. Because the watch case does not touch the skin directly, it preserves the caseback of your timepiece while offering exceptional comfort and presence on the arm.
