Ce n'est pas seulement une philosophie de vie pratiquée par Yolanda Edwards, c’est aussi le thème de ce dernier numéro du YOLO Journal, Printemps 2022.

Souvent, lorsque nous organisons un voyage, nous nous contentons de réservations d'hôtels et de restaurants voir de quelques noms de musées à cocher sur notre To-Do liste. C'est loin d'être suffisant pour découvrir les aspects les plus révélateurs et les plus émouvants d'une culture. S’imprégner de la littérature, l'histoire, la musique, l'architecture et la gastronomie d'un lieu vous plongera plus facilement dans l'endroit dont vous rêvez… et avant même de vous en rendre compte, « là-bas est ici ».

YOLO JOURNAL

Quatre «petites» lettres… qui font rêver grand. Vraiment grand. Surnom donné à la directrice de création de Conde Nast Traveler et fondatrice de ce magazine, Yolanda Edwards, ainsi que l'acronyme de « Vous ne vivez qu'une fois », YOLO n'est pas seulement un beau magazine de voyage, il nous rappelle surtout que nous devons tirer le meilleur parti du temps qui nous ait imparti.

« Une échappatoire, une évasion » comme l’explique Yolanda. YOLO est né du désir de filtrer, tester et approuver des adresses de voyage, le tout réuni au même endroit. Ce n’est pas une liste impersonnelle d’adresses, mais un journal d’histoires enchanteresses et d’aventures inoubliables.
