Just as an index lists the subjects of a book, this magazine invites readers to explore the world of objects that populate our lives. Here, however, the journey is organised chronologically and viewed through multiple lenses.

We dug deep, asked questions, and pushed open discreet doors to understand the fascination that some people develop for cameras, furniture, vehicles, sometimes watches, and even seemingly ordinary objects such as a toothpick. How are they conceived, brought into the world, used, preserved, and eventually collected?

THE EDITION

Les Rhabilleurs has grown through its online magazine and its e-commerce platform Joseph Bonnie, but limiting its universe strictly to watchmaking would be missing the bigger picture.
