The OMEGA Speedmaster Professional, a.k.a. “MOONWATCH” is considered as the only watch that has ever officially been to the Moon. It is also the only watch that has been approved for all NASA flights.
The model presented here is known as “Pre-Moon” and very sought after. The 105.012 marks an important event in the history of the Speedmaster. It was the first reference of the “Professional” line. Above all, this is a historic model chosen for the Apollo 11 missions that brought the first men to the surface of the Moon.
