A very charming vertically brushed silver dial with gorgeous details: steel and onyx hour markers, a date between four and five o’clock, and, above all, an applied logo and mention at noon as well as the mentions chronometer and Ultra-Chron on the bottom.

As Longines celebrates its 190th anniversary in 2022, the brand has relaunched its Ultra-Chron. In 1959, Longines was ready to present the first high-frequency movement for a wristwatch: the caliber 360, oscillating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, manufactured by hand and adjusted for observatory competitions. The Longines Ultra-Chron was presented in 1967 to celebrate the centenary of Longines.
