Imagine yourself in 1964. Your LIP is running fast. It’s therefore natural that you go to your watchmaker who you know well, and who suggests revising the watch to avoid the painful delay. Being a LIP distributor, he offers you a courtesy watch during the repair period.
A few weeks later, you collect your watch. But too late, a spell has been cast, and you’ll never return that little borrowed LIP you’ve become to like so much. A very likely story.
