Here is a fun piece that we’re more used to seeing.
Fun by its shape and structure. One might take it for a pocket watch at first, but its makeup, size, and weight makes you think twice. It is almost like a watch with its frame and lugs removed so that only the essentials remain, and the whole set on a chain.
The idea behind this principle, and this is in its name of “Golf,” is to allow players of the sport not to wear a mechanical watch on the wrist (the shocks received by the watch are destructive), but elsewhere where it would be safer.
