In our ongoing quest to find the finest leathers for our creations, we recently discovered an exceptional collection of vegetable-tanned French bull leather, sourced from the upper back and shoulder, a part of the hide that’s renowned for its natural strength and durability.
We were immediately drawn to its dense, rich build, and almost cushion-like suppleness, offering both a luxurious touch and a subtle, elegant sheen.
Over time, your Sonny eyeglass case will develop beautiful patina on the outside, while the suede-lined interior will remain soft and smooth to protect your lenses and frames.
As with almost all our leather accessories, Sonny is handcrafted by our traditional artisans in Limousin, France.
The case has been designed to remain discreet in size, yet it comfortably accommodates a wide variety of frame shapes and sizes.
All the great classics, of course – from the vintage Wayfarer to the iconic aviator, McQueen’s Persol 714, or the bold Moscot Lemtosh – as long as the maximum frame height doesn’t exceed 55mm.
