Breitling and TAG signatures on the same dial? Anything is possible. It wasn’t until 1985 that the TAG group took control over Heuer watch brand before renaming it TAG Heuer. This Breitling dates from the mid-1980s and has quite the interesting history.
It would have been offered, to journalists in particular, during the TAG Course de l’Europe regatta, sponsored by the TAG group as its name suggests. In 1985, the first race took place. It wasn’t that surprising to see a watch produced by Breitling with a TAG logo for the event.
