The Swiss brand Vulcain was born in 1858. The centenary watch was created to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary in 1958. Here’s a watch with a small 33mm diameter fitted with a “flex” strap of the period, and ETA 2452 automatic movement.
A watch of refined simplicity, its “vinyl” dial and hour markers have been set on a tilted golden rehaut. God is in the details.
