A Cartier Tank Must that we appreciate first and foremost for its delightful “lemon tart” dial. A dial with black lettering and the Cartier logo, accompanied by two blued sword hands, a signature of the brand. The case is vermeil, meaning silver plated with gold, and houses a basic ETA manual-winding mechanical movement. The watch is completed with its original Cartier-signed pin buckle.
CARTIER TANK MUST “LEMON”
Cartier manual-winding caliber - Circa 1980
2500€
When, at the beginning of the 1970s, Cartier presented its “Must” collection of accessories made up of pens, cigar cutters and lighters, the public who adored Cartier without being able to afford them before were delighted! It was not until 1977 that the Tank watch appeared in the collection.
