CERTINA DS
Calibre 25 651 - Circa 1960
Sold
Here is one of the many examples which illustrate the greatness of the watchmaking world in places we are not used to seeing. This magnificent Certina DS, accompanied by its original box, is living proof.
The initials DS are not a reference to the eponymous Citroën, but to a “Double Security” concept presented by the brand at the end of the 1950’s. An innovation making it possible to bring more resistance and waterproofness to its watches. This DS can withstand a pressure of 20 bar. Not bad at all. Even if you are not advised to try it today.
