This iconic watch, produced in 1904 was made more accessible in the 1970’s and 1980’s. It was born from the friendship between pioneer aviation adventurer, Alberto Santos-Dumont, and the creator Louis Cartier with the help of the famous Hans Wilsdorf, creator of the crown brand.

Launched in 1978 in Le Bourget in its contemporary version, it’s undoubtedly one of the most beautiful watchmaking creations of the 20th century and without a doubt, one of the most admirable commercial successes of the industry.
Note that in 1988, Michael Douglas, a.k.a. Gordon Gekko in the Oliver Stone film “Wall Street,” appears as a Golden Boy with a golden square Santos, symbol of success. The model that we present here is in perfect condition and will delight any fan of the legendary watch.
